The Nyona South Mud Lake Conservancy will be accepting applications for one vacancy for the Board of Directors from October 24 – December 1, 2022. The term of Director Bill Allen will expire at the end of 2022. A nominee does have to have been a petitioner for establishment of the district. A nominee does not have to be a resident of the area of the district for which the nominations are invited. Nominations for Director must be submitted to the office of the district in writing before December 1, 2022 or returned to one of the current board members: Tom Trent, Tim Johnson, Randy Hill, Brian Roller, or Bill Allen. The application for vacancies must be signed by five freeholders from the areas designated by the secretary’s notice. Nominations that are mailed must be delivered or postmarked before December 1, 2022. The envelope must have sufficient postage and be dated prior to that date.
