Nyona South Mud Lake Conservancy District

Notice : The Conservancy Board has recently received inquiries regarding where freeholders responsibilities end and where Conservancy District responsibilities begin with respect to maintenance and repair of our sewage system. At the original installation every property owner was responsible for connecting  from their house or structure to the Conservancy District sewer/grinder pod. Each property owner made the choice as to the location of their “cleanout”, if they wanted a check valve, etc. Thus any issues ( plugging, backups, back-flow preventer failure, etc.) in the line between the home and grinder pod is the sole responsibility of the freeholder (property owner).  The District is responsible only from the grinder pod to the plant and then out.  Any damage to the districts system caused by the property owner’s negligence is also the property owner’s responsibility.

Please do not call Astbury Water Technologies in this regard, this is strictly a Conservancy District matter.
